HC And @ OUH

OUH has lunched a project called HC And, inspired from the famous HC Anderson, illustrated with a cartoonie brush.
HC And is for children in the age group 3-7 years. It helps children preparing and reduce the uncertainty at the HC. Andersen Children’s Hospital.
At the webpage is it possible to find information about examinations and admissions, as small animated cartoons that appeals to the children.
HC And can also be used as a part of the further treatment at home, if the child needs to process the experience at the hospital.

Printing Posters for your stands!

It will be possible to print posters for the InnoEvent.

Maximum size: 50X70

Needs to be a PDF file, specified for print
…
The file should be saved in the folder “Poster To Print” in the InnoEvent 2011 folder on Free4All.

There will be no prints printed thursday (the entire day) and friday after 14.00. So make your posters ready as soon as possible.

Ask for Kim at Skolepraktik. (Is located in the bigger open room, on your way to the lectures room Down/Upstairs)

InnoEvent 2011 – week 11

InnoEvent 2011 (14th to 19th of March) is an annual event planned by the Multi Media Design (MMD) department at EAL, Odense in Cooperation with a company or organisation. This year the theme is “Playing at the Hospital” innovation. InnoEvent 2011 is run in collaboration with Odense University Hospital. Students from IT, Media and Marketing departments from Lillebaelt Academy of Professional Higher Education (EAL), in Odense, will compete for the best innovative solutions.

InnoEvent is the brainchild of Michael Lundorff-Hansen, Head of Department at MMD Odense. Michaels’ intention with InnoEvent was to create an innovative platform for, mutually beneficial, collaboration between students and businesses, with the added bonus of being able to showcase the skills of his students, to a broader audience. InnoEvent 2010 was a success beyond imagination, in the words of Hospital Director Peder Jest: “it was an eye-opener to see how innovative students, within one week , and with no financial expenditure, could come up with several solutions, which can be implemented immediately, solving problems which health professionals have spent year, and millions of kroner on, without a final outcome”.

The InnoEvent week process (brief description):The week begins Monday morning where students from the different departments are split into groups, presented with the case and given inspirational lectures. The following days (and nights) the students work with concept developing, and prototyping, in groups. The week culminates with the exhibition and award show Saturday, where the category winners are announced.
